TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS .
- He underwent Post Graduate Course on Five Advanced Food Technologies what were important to Indian food industry. The course was completed at Reputed Institute in USA namely Centre for Advance Food Technology at Food Science (Cooks) College (CAFT) in Rutgers University, New Brunswick - New Jersey – USA.
- He also undergone intense advanced training in Rutgers University - CAFT - Cooks College, at New Jersey – USA as one of the first ever experts to get fully trained on Food Safety System - HACCP, its principals and skills for its implementation in Indian food industry
- He was also a Post Graduate in Dairy Science & Technology – Specializing in - Product Development & Quality Assurance from pioneer and most respectable research institute in India namely National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI-SRS) – Bangalore
- After above course he also undergone three training sessions and short term food processing PG course in Food Science & Technology from another reputed institute in India namely Central Food Technological Research Institute CFTRI – Mysore.
- Before above post graduation courses he had completed graduate course in Chemistry and Biological Sciences from very old, reputed & most known college namely Maharajas College in Ernakulam / Cochin - Kerala State.
- Completed his schooling from old & very reputed school namely St. Joseph's Indian High School – Bangalore.
- He is a North Karnataka & Maharashtrian by culture & life style. Lives in Bangalore with his better half & two daughters - one engineered & employed and another B.Tech Specialized in Soft Page Designing.
MANAGEMENT & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS :
- Later he completed his Masters in Business Administration - MBA – Specializing in "Production Management" from setup namely IGNOU – New Delhi.
- Later on he underwent a Post Graduate Course in "Materials Management" from National Centre for Quality Management - NCQM – Mumbai.
- He underwent Lead Food Safety Auditors Training Accredited Courses organized by Three different Certification Agencies for HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC & IFS.
- Apart from the above he is been trained on many other aspects in food science and technology at CFTRI, Coconut Development Board, BIS, FSSAI, Spices Board, NHB, APEDA, IIHR, UAS, MPEDA, IIM Blre, NDRI, BARC, Agmark, Spices Board, CII, Assocham, and many other reputed research & few other management institutions and also in few Universities.
- After his post graduate dairy and food science courses he associated himself with leading different kind of food processing industries in key positions namely,
PROFESSIONAL INDUSTRY TENURE :
- M/s. SubZero Ice Creams – Bangalore - A full fledged different kinds of retail branded Ice-cream mfg. unit – Taken care of Production activities of a shift. Served as “Production Executive”.
- M/s. Dempo Dairy Industries – Asangi near Banahatti in Jamakhandi Tq.in North Karnataka – it is a Full Fledged – High Tech milk and multi products mfg. unit – I was Responsible for all the Quality Control, Assurance & Product Development activities along with testing Chemical and Microbiological parameters of all raw materials, in process, finished goods, packaging materials and process controls activities of I the company. I started as “Chief Chemist” and later elevated to “Quality Assurance Officer” handling 6 chemists and 2 microbiologists.
- M/s. Tropical Fruits International Ltd – Bangalore – Served as “Quality Assurance Officer” in a high tech multi type tropical fruit processing unit handling, processed into its various value added products including Canning & Aseptic Fruit Pulp in Drums, Jams, Squash, Slices and Juices – Responsible in all the areas of Quality Control, Process & product Improvement and GMP Assurance activities of the company.
- M/s. Hindustan Foods Limited – Ponda – Goa – A High tech Twin Screw Extrusion Processing unit mfg. different types of Health Foods, Infant Baby Foods, Energy Foods, Breakfast Cereals & Porridge Powders – Responsible for all the Quality Control, Assurance and Product Development Activities of the company. Served as “Dy. Manager Quality Assurance and Product Development”.
- M/s. Universal Beverages – Usagao – Goa – A high speed Pepsi franchise soft drinks bottling unit mfg. all flavours of Pepsi branded soft drinks - – Responsible for all the Quality Control and Assurance activities, Water treatment, Syrup Preparation, Process control, product improvement and all testing parameters of the company with a team of 12 Quality Control related staffs etc of the company. Served as “Quality Control Manager” and “Head of Water and Syrup Preparation”.
PROFESSIONAL EXPOSURE AND EXPERTISE :
- After having 7-8 years of above mentioned food industry intense work experience in Middle & Senior positions he associated with M/s. Centre for Processed Foods (CPF) – Bangalore. A leading NGO, a regional developmental & service organisation focusing its activities mainly for the healthy development of Indian Food Processing Industry and later transformed into offering useful scientific & technical services to Processed Food Industries & Entrepreneurs.
- At Centre for Processed Foods joined as “Manager - Technical”, later elevated to “Senior Manager – Technical Services” and then as “CEO - Technical” after serving 15 years as Critical Technical Service Providing to agro & food processing industries in India and then he announced himself & the organisation as Professional Consultancy & Service Providers to food processing industries & to aspiring entrepreneurs in all kinds of food industries & scales of operations.
- Fifteen years back he took over Centre for Processed Foods and converted it as Proprietary Organization, designating himself as “CEO” and driven all its kinds of servicing activities with intense passion, Now he elevated himself as “Director & CEO” position to further excel his organisations & latest aspired visions.
- Actively involved in Bangalore Chapter of Association of Food Scientists and Technologists – India what governs all qualified food scientists, technologists and all food related professionals living in Karnataka. HO operates from India having twenty nine Chapters in all State capitals. I offered fifteen years of service to Blre Chapter as Executive Committee Member, then twice elected as Secretary, later got elevated to Vice President and served two years as President Cadre. Now being there as an Expert Advisory and Patron Member.
- He strengthened later joined CPF as an networking organization with various different Agencies, Professionals, Associations, Developmental, Trade Bodies, Govt. & Non Govt organisations, Research institutes, and all level of Educational Institutions so as to further expand its service providing activities to all types & scales of operating agro, food processing and scales of hospitality – kitchen operations in India and to many other countries and also assistance to prospective entrepreneurs for kinds aspiring products.
- Acquired immense networking capabilities in food processing industry in India and internationally & further strengthened skills to deliver techno commercial services in all the areas of diversified food business of India which made him & his organisation very respectable and reputed. Pratibha Devisingh Patil on a very Specific Technical Subject relating to -- Activities to Get Initiated in "Indian Biosphere - Agro - Food Operation" -- at Raj Bhavan, Bangalore on 5th Aug. 2011 in presence of his Excellency The Governor of Karnataka, Shri. Hans Raj Bhardwaj and many other Leading Select Dignitaries representing Govt. of Karnataka, Agricultural Universities, Research Institutions, Trade Promotion Bodies and Leading Professionals relating to Agriculture, Agro & Food Processing.
